Why 310Slim Machine Screws adopted 6 Lobe Recess?

Today We will inform you why SAIMA adopted 6 Lobe Recess.

As a low head screw in DIN Standard,

there are two standards in circulation: DIN7984 and DIN6912.

These are low-head socket cap screws with a lower head than DIN912.

The weak point of the hexagon socket is that the fit between the hexagon wrench and the hexagon socket is loose. There is a lot of “play(space/gap)” in it.

If there is a lot of play, the hex socket will be stripped and become unusable unless the “hex socket depth” is increased. When depth is required, the incomplete thread becomes larger.

SAIMA 310Slim adopt 6Lobe Recess, the head has been made as thin as possible and can fasten firmly.

If you are having trouble with cam-out or recess destruction of hex socket with low head screw, we will help you.
